WHAT IS THE FUTURE STORY CO.?
Your school and work have equipped you to navigate the world as it is. But in an era of change and uncertainty, you must learn how to prepare for the world as you want it to be. The future isn’t ‘out there’ – it’s something we create in here [points to head]. We teach you to use the future as a tool of the imagination, to unlock your ability to navigate whatever comes next on your own terms.
WHAT ARE FUTURES STORIES?
Futures Stories allow us to use fiction techniques to imagine diverse, crazy, exciting, scary and hopeful plotlines for the future.
They take the form of Future Scenarios, Day in the Life of Stories, world-building, narrative visioning and creative immersions.
WHY INVEST IN FUTURES LITERACY?
Futures Stories activate your futures literacy and hone your change-readiness mindset. Learning to use Future Stories is like having the power to stun the troll and safely cross the bridge.
When we write and explore utopian and dystopian futures, we can confront uncertainty with courage and thwart potential threats on the horizon.
